Fertile Future is a national charitable organization that provides fertility preservation information and support services to cancer patients and oncology professionals.
Every year at least 10,000 Canadians between the ages of 20 and 44 are diagnosed with cancer - an estimated 80% survive. Fertile Future strives to provide vital information to these patients about the availability of fertility preservation services, as well as to oncology professionals, enabling them to make timely patient referrals. Our objective is to provide information to young cancer patients that could help them achieve the fullest life possible after cancer; a life complete with children.
August 2009 Ontario's Expert Panel on Infertility and Adoption has released their final report Raising Expectations. We are pleased it reflects Fertile Future’s recommendations with regards to fertility preservation (4.16 -4.18, page 21). Click here to view.
